I will tell you right now that I am a firm believer in the idea that anything you put out into the universe really can manifest. That is exactly what I believe happened this month with my Beauty Heroes Fitglow Beauty box. (If you want to learn more about the Beauty Heroes Subscription box, be sure to check out my post about non-toxic beauty boxes here.)
I was using the OSEA Atmosphere Potection Cream and was almost out. I started doing some research and thinking about what face cream I wanted to try next. It was taking a while to decide and I was dangerously low. No kidding, the next day, my Beauty Heroes box showed up with with the Cloud Comfort Cream by Fitglow Beauty! First, let’s talk a little about Fitglow. They are all about plant based products that are organic, cruelty free and gluten free. Anna, the founder, suffered from sensitive skin with rosacea and decided to create her own clean products. Fitglow is the manifestation of about ten years of research and trial and error — so you know the products are well thought out and created to be effective.
If you didn’t know, the Beauty Heroes box always comes with one hero and one sidekick. So in this box, the Cloud Comfort Cream was the Hero and the sidekick was the Redness Rescue Cream. Both are moisturizers that you can use year round, and they still get the job done even during the rough winter months.
The Cloud Comfort Cream is extremely hydrating and anti-inflammatory — both aspects that I love! It goes on really well and doesn’t leave an oily or greasy residue behind. It also is not a super heavy or thick moisturizer. I have been using this morning and night. Also, the pump makes it so easy to travel since it can’t accidentally be pumped. Also, I’m definitely a fan of pumped products vs. pots since you don’t contaminate with your hands.
The Redness Rescue Cream has a green mineral tint which immediately reduces the look of redness while Organic Grape Seed Oil hydrates the skin. I love using this during the week when I am not wearing any makeup or just wearing a tiny bit of pressed powder to help make my skin a bit more even toned. Even though it’s tinted green and helps with redness, I do think it’s important to note that it isn’t full coverage, so it will definitely help but not completely hide it.
The Beauty Heroes box is my favorite subscription box since they send a different full sized item monthly. It really gives customers a chance to give the brand and product a try before deciding whether they love or hate it! If you are interested in signing up for their subscription, you can do so here.
Have you tried any of Fitglow‘s products? I’ve heard such great things and have such a good experience so far I am definitely going to try more! Let me know your favorites in the comments below!
